Journey to: Regent... Nekocon... Shorter Hair?!?

It has been a loooong while since I last posted a blog, so here's what's been happening with me, in a summary format: I started college, it's been going great, keeping my grades up (as usual), I started preparing myself for an anime convention called Nekocon (that by the way starts tomorrow), aaand I cut my hair that I had been growing out :( it was at least 3 inches in length, at least. Now that that is done with, I'll explain them in more specific terms, for those who want to know more.
About college: As you might know, I am attending a university in the Virginia Beach area called Regent University. I am taking the following classes: Introduction to Digital Art, Public Speaking, Contemporary Problems for Christian Leaders, and Mathematics for the Liberal Arts. I am doing exceptionally well in all of these courses, and I am maintaining a high Grade Point Average as well. I have also made alot of riends here at Regent. Perhaps God has sent me here to Regent for a reason, and I will discover it more and more along the way.
About the anime convention: As aforementioned, I am attending an anime convention called Nekocon, being held in the Hampton Roads Convention Center, and is starting tomorrow (Friday) and will be going on until Sunday. For the convention, I'm cosplaying as Cloud Strife from the game Final Fantasy VII, But I'm cosplaying as the version in the movie Advent Children, which is based off the game. I have a few photos up on my Facebook account that I took with me wearing the outfit, but they aren't very high quality. The better quality photos should be up after Nekocon, And there will be LOTS of them.
About my hair: Well, I'll put it this way - I was trying to grow out my hair to be able to style it for my cosplay for the convention, buuut, my hair isn't the right "kind" of hair for me to be able to do that :'( Oh well, looks like I'll have to stick with a wig (and I did.)
So, that's what been going on in a nutshell, and be sure that I won't make the mistake of waiting soooo long to post another blog. Until next time, peace out.
